It is our intention to create a small and selective gallery shop selling local and international artwork, hand-made arts and crafts, and useful art materials. There will be an IT training suite and selected installation art supporting the gimmick of viewing art in the police cells.

TAO recognises the demand for independent space for practitioners in the arts, and will be offering office, workshop and private rooms to rent, in this former police station, as studios and offices for creative industries and practitioners working toward education in the arts.

We have already discussed opportunities in this building with various artist groups and artists in the community, to increase opportunities for education workshops and programmes, with a major focus on opportunities for young persons and disadvantaged groups.
