Break
the Cycle
presents
The Sunday Fair
Date: 20th July
Time: 2pm to 9pm
On Sundays, Break the Cycle will be hosting a series trade fair events.
Held at The Arts Organisation 21 station street NG2. The Sunday Fair is aimed
at providing Nottingham Artists and Craftsmen with a platform to sell their
wears and promote their talents. The aim is also to provide the local community
with a chance to socialise at an event that they can enjoy.
All Nottingham artists and Craftsmen are invited to set up a stall and be a
part of this event.
There will be a £5 donation per stall payable on the day. Proceeds from
this event will go towards financing other activities run by Break the Cycle.
Wall space will be available for Painters and Drawers to display their works.
A Public address system will be operating to give Musicians, Poets and Public
speakers a platform to perform.
For Artists and Craftsmen this will be a unique opportunity to sell your goods
and link up with potential clients/customers/fans. It will also be a great chance
network with other artists and organisations that could help develop your trade.
For the public The Sunday Fair promises to be a good day out for all the family.
All are invited to attend this event.
The Sunday fair aims to bring people together in a sociable environment . Providing
access to locally produced goods and services. This will be a unique combination
of commercial, cultural and community activity's all under one roof.
To keep you fed and refreshed. Food and drink will be on sale, provided by local
Nottingham caters.
Music will be a key component of the event. Entertainment will be provided by
some of Nottingham's best artists. While an open mic set up will allow you to
grab the mic as well.
There will be a therapy room operating where you will be able to learn about
or sample some holistic therapies that are locally available. Including Reiki,
Yoga, and Massage.
There will also be an Afrikan drumming work shop running through out the day
giving you a chance to get in touch with some roots and culture.
Members of break the cycle and other community based organisations will be in
attendance. Giving you a chance to learn more about or get involved in some
of the community projects that are currently running. you may also take this
opportunity to access some of the services that are available to you as a member
of the community.
This is just the first in a series of five Sunday Fairs. This is your event
