TAO members show concern for the regeneration of disused property and the introduction of arts to the community, in line with our current constitution.
The New Annual Subscription to TAO is now just £10 and includes an invitation to our annual Meta-Conceptual Gathering (mcg), where groups will be challenged to create new work in an Urban or Rural environment.
All new members wishing to join The Art Organisation and participate in current TAO projects will be asked to write a proposal for their activity. New members will be asked to supply images (j.pgs on floppy or CD) that best represent themselves as part of this proposal. This information and imagery will serve as the basis for our promotion of the project and inclusion in this website.
We hope, by having to formalise your ideas and desires into a written format it will allow the individual to consider how their working process fits into the current practice of TAO (constitution).
In most scenarios we have found new members are seeking funding for their work - this proposal introduces the new member to consider the information required for such an application, and where possible we can then advise further based on our own experiences within this field.

The Art Organisation is registered non-profit as a company by guarantee. Our annual fee supports administration costs, website hosting, public liability insurance policy, company fees and accounts.
